My dress has been found!!!
I'm still new to all this blogging but I want to include more pictures! There will be TONS after the wedding and honeymoon! BUT, we are officially under the month mark!! My dress was found after 4 months of torture, and the bridals are FINALLY scheduled! We are having a blast planning the wedding but it is also A TON more work than I anticipated. If I could go back and do it all over I think we'd just elope. haha. I get to get my living ordinances recommend this Sunday which is SO exciting. I take out my endowments on the 12th of next month so Matt will be able to take me thru:) I'm getting really excited about that! I've realized that whatever happens, at least I'm marrying the love of my life and I get to be sealed to him for time and all eternity! I can't wait for the wedding to just be here though. It's been crazy busy and I am ready to see the outcome. I have been so blessed to have an amazing family and incredible friends who have thrown me showers and done so many cute things for me! This Saturday my cute friends Cassidy and Calli are throwing me a shower (my 4th one haha) and then we're going out dancing for the last time before I get married. WAHOO!!! Can't wait!
I should probably be working on my talk since my Bishop just asked me to speak in church on Sunday, ugh. If anyone has any good suggestions about the topic "Diligence" PLEASE let me know!!

WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!
So here's the story of how it happened:
Obviously I can't capture how incredible and special it all was but I'm gonna give the basic story :)
So for the past week Matt was leaving me notes as a countdown starting from 5. He'd hide the notes somewhere in my house and then text me after I had fallen asleep to tell me where to find it in the morning. Each note had something special about us on it. Friday was day one and the last sentence of that note said, "Andrea Nevin...that has a nice 'ring' to it." I knew the engagement was coming soon but I had no idea when it would be! Matt had a nice date planned for last night at Chef's Table and he told me to dress up nice. Earlier in the day he'd told me that our friends, Michael and Peter, wanted to hang out after dinner so that was the plan for after our date. So we go to Chef's Table and have a great meal and an amazing time together! Towards the end of the date Matt pulled a little Nordstrom box out of his suit coat and had me open it. It was a cute pair of pearl earrings! I was then thinking ok, the engagement is definitely not happening tonight. Then he pulls out another little Nordstrom box. I open that box and it was an adorable pair of betsey johnson earrings! By then it was time to go and I was prepared to go pick up a movie, change into sweats, cuddle with my sweetie, and hang out with the look-a-likes. We went to Redbox first and found nothing so we headed to Blockbuster. When we got back to Matt's house, I told him I wanted to run into his house and change before we went next door to Mike and Peter's house. Matt told me I could go change in a little and we headed into the Santamaria's. When Michael opened the door the house was PITCH BLACK! We walked into the kitchen and the lights were thrown on! There stood my family, Matt's family, and all of our friends! There was probably 25 people there! I couldn't believe Matt surprised me like that and kept it all a secret since I'm so nosey and impatient haha! Any way, so I turn around and Matt is kneeling on the ground and he says, "I guess now is the time for me to say something cheesy. Will you make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?" Of course I said yes and was ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!! We had a great night with our friends and family with all of my favorite treats Matt got (red velvet cake, muddy buddies, and chips and dip)
BEST NIGHT EVER!!!! I'n so lucky and I can't wait till June 19th to start my life with Matt!
I'll post some pics and the recording of the proposal when I get them from our family and friends!
